Factoring in the cost of labor to get a $100+ sensor installed, I would figure that the total cost would be around $700-900. I should be able to find a working transmission with the correct sensor for ~$300-600.

If I can find a converter, I could use that, but I cant find any information on them online, and I have never heard of anyone using something like it.

It's my understanding that all 98 RS swaps have to either replace the sensor, get a new trans, or drive in limp mode.
