Yes, I'll fix it for you. Again.
Default Enemy sniper video

I'm glad the body armour is working for our guys in the sandbox.....hopefully the dude is OK....

Check this vid out

The vid is shot from an enemy sniping position (I think inside a van that was finally captured, along with perps and videotape), and shows a G.I. take a hit, get right back up and prepare for action.

All the piles of crap behind the camera can do to calm their nerves is to chant "god is great".

The guys & gals that are out there every day dodging this stuff while I sit in my A/C'd office have some serious stones. What's worse is most of the freaks here on the government tit (whoops, I mean, University) don't have a freaking clue.

Here's the PDF to go with it:

http://www.armytimes.com/content/edi...iper071505.pdf

The soldier that was shot ended up tracking down the shooter (after an exchange) and administered first aid to the POS.

According to that article, the terrorist was using a 7.62x54R, which has basically the same power as a .308 Winchester (you know, the M60 round). The soldier must have had on a Level III vest with a plate to stop that bullet at such close range! Good thing the POS didn't go for a headshot.

I thought you were implying the "first aid" administered was return fire... but no, the guy that got shot actually badaged up the sniper after he was captured.

It's nice to see our boys playing by the rules even after a sneaky bullshit sniper ambush. I hope while he was working on the guy, Pfc. Tschiderer made sure to point at the bullet in his vest and say "you missed".

Actually that is the standard issue vest, same one I have on in the pic. with the Romanian guys. they will take several hits from 7.62mm.. but he is very lucky.

*edit* that video makes me wince...considering this place is getting very nasty now...hell we got rocket attacked on our main post last week..some nice 104 rockets launched right into the center of the base..hell of a weak up call...I love bunker diving in the early AM
