High quality, well engineered products + crazy good customer service? Is anyone surprised Matt gets recommended over the competition?

It is big talk when other tuners around the country talk about the intake designs and how they love them over the big over price companies... Plus Matt turned around and open a local shop with I say one of the best subie mechanics in town.. YES Cory that would be you.. I brought my car in pieces and the magic they work Matt, Cory and Kevin i think is unreal.. so big ups to KSpeed and KStech for all the custom parts i needed to complete this big project. This is not the only site i seen that had KStech all over a thread..

Thanks for pointing out that thread. I just posted a response...

Thanks for all the positive feedback in this thread.

We probably make more intake part numbers for Subaru WRX/STI than everybody else combined. There are numerous SRI and CAI available in multiple configurations and in 65mm, 73mm, 83mm to match increasing power levels. We have also done 86mm and 89mm semi-custom intakes for people making more than 600whp using the stock ECU. We make CAI for stock-mount and rotated-mount turbos and for most FMIC. The larger MAFs tune easily and consistently. And it is all made to order or in small batches here in the Reno/Tahoe area.

Rules of thumb:
65mm <350whp
73mm <450whp
83mm <560whp
86mm <620whp

AEM DryFlow filters are a nice design and quick and easy to clean, so they are standard on many of our intakes. For some we still have to go with K&N due to size constraints, but an Amsoil dry filter is available. In my experience K&N filters work great and do not foul the MAF sensor when they are cleaned, oiled, and dried properly.

Selecting an intake for mod'd Subarus can be a little confusing, so don't hesitate to PM me, email sales@kstech.biz, or call - 775-250-7903 anytime from 7am-7pm PST. Especially if you have a unique or custom set-up.

Thanks again.

Matt

We should all plaster our cars with KSpeed stickers, promote the shop and gain horsepower! Lol
