Get prog rock out of your head, I'm talking about the upcoming Ron Howard film based on the 76 Formula One season. Based around the championship battle between James Hunt, and Niki Lauda, it should be awesome. I imagine the Nurburg GP will be epic as shit.

I'm thrilled because James Hunt is a hero of mine. Something about failing a tech inspection because the drivers seat of your race prepared Mini is in fact a lawn chair really speaks to me.

As a fellow racer or just race fan:

You are invited to a “Rush” pre-release screening at 8:00pm at the Fandango Galaxy Theatres on Thursday, September 26th. This is a day before the movie releases worldwide on 9/27.

This is a private event that is being held by Casino Fandango. The cost of event is just $10.00 per person, the regular price of a movie ticket. We will have a cash bar with beer and wine set up in the movie theatre.
The seats will be filled on a first come, first server basis. Please RSVP to my executive casino host Steve Corda at 775-886-1670.
You may check in and pay beginning at 6:00pm in the Fandango Foyer directly to the right of the main entrance to the Galaxy Theatre. You will receive a wrist band for entrance to the theatre.
I am also offering an $89 nightly room rate at my Courtyard Marriott for the weekend beginning that night.

I highly recommend coming on down and dining in one of our great restaurants before seeing the show.

Lisa and I were wanted to go, but we couldn't get a babysitter. Plus, I have to replace the brakes on the miata in order to race this weekend.

Yeah, I had to work too late to make it, plus the baby is sick so no fair dropping her off. I'm hoping to hear how it was, that was sure a cool deal that Court put together. I'll try to go see it this weekend some time...

IT WAS AMAZING.

A MUST SEE ON A BIG SCREEN, Preferably surrounded by other drivers who know when to Ohhh and Ahhh at the right spots.

Cinematography was an 11 on top of a 10 for story and performance IMHO.

Bob may be more critical, but who knows.

Carrie and I finally went to see it tonight...I'm so glad we got to see it in the theatre. What a fantastic movie, loved every bit of it, but the cars and the racing scenes are amazing.
