Don't know anyone running tanabe coilovers, but everything I've gathered about their springs says they are more about looks than performance- their spring rates don't work very well with stock struts. Frankly, I've never been all that impressed with the less expensive Japanese aftermarket stuff.

Sam, if your going to spend the money you might as well buy quality parts. Ive never looked into STi aftermarket parts but I would say just stick with whatever brand is proven.

Sam it's been awhile, hows the car?

I have tanabe sustec gf210 srings and they handle great Also the coil-overs are manufactured by cusco Tanabe is a exhaust Co. they dont make springs or coil-overs but they put there name on somone elses product. I have been tould this by three different dist. of tanabe. Also Tanabe was at the time in January the only spring and proper spring rate for the Sti only and not wrx/sti. Tein said they made one but couldnt find anyone selling it.
