Default Summer adventure #1 and #2

This coming summer is going to be the summer I will remember for the rest of my life. I've decided to save money and do all the things I have ever wanted to do over the three month break.

#1 is to drive across the country. I plan to visit a friend in Boston, York, Florida, and on the way back I'm going to Canada. I don't have the details yet, but I have time.

#2 is to base jump/skydive. I want to do both, but I'm an not sure on pricing. I know I might be able to get a deal with Skydive Lake Tahoe because I did an article on their operation last semester. Free publicity is always welcomed by small businesses.

To go with #2 I have found a cool video that I wanted to share- http://media.hugi.is/hahradi/fyndnar/jeb_2003big.wmv

I plan on adding more events for the summer as I think of them. Throw out some suggestions if you have any great ideas. I'm off to class, bye guys.

I forgot about my #3 idea. I'm joining the "South Shore Soldiers" this spring. I will train and on my spring break, I get to ski Heavenly's AMAZING SSS park with my favorite pro skiers.

A word of advice on number 1, DON'T go through Nebraska. Sounds like a fun time man. I wanna go sky diving.

Skydiving is cool. Definitely worth doing once. Tandem is probably a better choice than static line if you only do it once.

Some people start right out with AFF, but I think the tandem first gets all the first jump jitters out of the way in a safer, more controlled fashion. I'd probably do another tandem before I went through AFF if I was going to get my certification.

Not sure you can even base jump without a skydiving certification, and your own equipment, and most base jumpers have 100s if not thousands of regular sky dives I beleive prior to trying base...

Dean, he didn't specify the height of the base. Heck I base jumped my deck once and I have no certifications at all.

Who's Annette! and what is she doing jumping. I guess technically I was certifiably drunk and I think it was more BASE falling.
