Default WRC is finally back

Now that the Dakar is over (not that we got any coverage... stupid OLN ), that means that the Monte Carlo is soon.

Next Sunday @ 6pm on Speed Rallye Automobile Monte Carlo.

Perhaps a Dakar event is in order as well on Saturday at 6:30pm

Anybody Interested in getting together for WRC?

If there is enough interest, we could give Bully's a call and see if we can get the room. Who's in?

Charter shows it fromn 8:00-9:30PM on Speed. What does DirectTV have it as? I think that is what Bully's has.

I'm interested...
Direct tv has WRC on at 8:00 Also, so we can plan on 8.
Also, Dakar coverage continues tonight at 6:30.

I will be away from my computer for today, so can someone call me if a decision is made...BTW, my house is fine too, if everyone wants to get pizzas and wings or something,,

let me know.

I'm interested in whatever... I was just planning on crashing Matt's house, but if a better idea comes up, I'm in.

Not a whole lot of response, so it looks like Bully's is out.

Looks like it's Matt's or Scott's place some time after 6PM. If you don't hear from one of them, call them.

Wow, Monte Carlo is sick. That was an awesome rally. I wish peugot would have stuck with the 206 instead of that dam 307.

Like Tyson said, the EVO's are looking pretty sick this season. Hopefully for Mitsu they don't have any major mechanical issues, because the car seems fast!

And Petter's wreck is what I envision happening to my car out on Reno streets w/ my Azenis Sports. In fact, I'd say the racing conditions for Monty were damn near the driving conditions up here in the Sierra's this winter! Could you imagine running Mt. Rose Hwy at 120 mph with all the dirt and ice on the ground!?

Well, I can "imagine" it too... but I wouldn't expect to get more than a few turns in before I tore off the LF hitting a stone wall.

No, this weekend, it was a stone wall on the left side after bouncing off a snow covered rock wall on the right.

Hinkelstein = Extreme Yaw sensor tester, and IIRC are designed to be applied at the co driver door sil area.

Haha...Check out this blurb from SWRT.com...Looks like they decided to give Chris Attkinson some last minute snow tips, from the man..

""Chris Goes Back to School

Most Australians are more familiar with sun than snow, but that's all changing for new Subaru recruit Chris Atkinson. Having moved to the UK from Australia's sunny Gold Coast at the end of last year, Chris will make his Subaru World Rally Team (SWRT) debut on Rally Sweden, so, last month, Subaru sent him to Tommi Makinen's Rally School in Finland for some special driving lessons. Alongside one of the finest rally-driving teachers, SWRT test driver Pasi Hagstrom, Chris buckled up to learn all about the white stuff...""
