Default My STi is broken.

Not sure what the hell happened now...I started it up this morning and it coughed and sputtered then the CEL came on solid, and Cruise light was blinking...So, It runs in limp mode, no boost, so I drive it to lithia. It's there now...I'm waiting to hear what is going on.

I shouldn't have cursed at it last night, I think I upset it.

crap

Ouch!

Why'd you go to Lithia? We might have been able to figure it out and save you some money if it's not major. I wonder if Kevin's DeltaDash could have pulled the codes.

I also wonder what a blinking "Cruise" means... I've never heard of that. You could have any number of sensors come loose, or failed. Or a fouled spark plug...

They said the blinking cruise means it's in safe mode, the sti motor goes to that status pretty easily from what i was told.

This happened at 7:30 this morning, as I was leaving for work, I didn't have time to mess with it. It's Warranty anyway...

What Scott said. I'd check sensor wires & connections, check obvious ignition components like plugs, wires, coil, etc., and disconnect the battery for a few minutes & step on the brake pedal to clear the keep-alive memory in the computer.

Oh, I'm sure he said that intentionally. Either that, or Matt him self has become 2 Fast and 2 Furious for his own good.

I don't care. I'm probably going to Reno anyway and I usually end up at my friends dealer ogling over Eleanor for like an hour anyway.
