Haha...There is a good deal of wheel gap without the 18's on there.

They are a very pain wheel, but the look is growing on me. Considering how often they will actually be on the car, I 'm not concerened with the looks too much, anyway.

Very nice wheels Matt. What do those weigh and what size tire are you going to run?

I'm told they are only 19 lbs..Which is good.

I'm planning on running Yokohama AO32 R compounds in a 235-40-17 on them.

Sorry off topic here, but there is something to be said for not being too low. I had SS adjust my coilovers (tein) by raising them 1/2" - 3/4" all the way around. The handling improved drastically in every aspect.

It'll be interesting to hear how they perform this weekend; and in comparison to what you used last year, what others are going to run, etc.
(If you got rid of two of those spokes, you might be down to @18lbs. j/k)

you know they make 2 types of tires right? H series and a S series...........

Matt, I can't find that tire in the H for that size. Are you going to run that tire in the S series? Will it be to soft?

No the H is not available in the 245, it is avail in the 235.

Debbie, these are track and solo trial rims, I wont have them at solo 2.

Cool, different sets for track & solo2.

Yep. I would have made it through the whole season last year on my lovely 070's, but I killed them on teh track and at Solo Trials on teh 130 Degree pavement. So this year, I figure one set of street tires for Solo 2 for the whole season, and a stickier fun race tire to run at Solo Trials and Track events.

Thanks man I still dont know if made the right decision on this wheel I think I should have waited the 3months for the CE28 I just dont the patients to wait that long plus It would have been a 8.5 and I would had too buy a 245 tire which I just dont have the money for but thats the wheel I really want

The difference in cost between sticky 235s and sticky 245s pales next to the extra $1000 for the wheels.
