Default I finally got my boosted AWD Subaru...

Too bad it's STILL in the Sacramento. Have you gotten your WRX back yet Scott? I still want to beat you. S^2 has been more than accommodating (thanks for trying to get it worked out in time ), the car just doesn't want to leave. I tried to take it twice but both times a new problem appeared. Woohoo. Oh well at least I can say I have boooost.

Motor's in, but Nate hasn't had time to check that the current map on the ECU is safe and give the car a shake down. Plus the suspension still needs to get installed, so I'm not picking it up until next week.

I looked for your car, but finding a blue WRX in a Subaru tuning shop is harder than finding...

It's a ruby red color. The outside is kind beat but the interior is nice and mechanically it should be good after all the money I've given to S^2. It's gonna be stock, at least that's the plan. I wanted an auto so no 5spd swaps.

Nice. I would expect a little more in the mod department from you, though. Those are so cool --- insane jealousy here....

The only thing getting modded in the forseeable future is my condo. Then I want a bike. If there is money left I do have some ideas in my head for the car though. You can buy it off me when I'm done with it if you want it.

Caution Scotty... when JC is "done" with a car, it's usually got rally decals all over it, and it's upside down in a creek-bed in Finland.

Nope, they got the motor in and running last week, but with Joe gone Firday & Monday for a soccer tourney, Nate was too busy to finish up the car on Friday. It still needs to have the tune checked, the suspension installed, and a few other odds and ends. Then Nate want's to give it a test drive to make sure it's not going to burst into flames or anything.

If I can get a ride to Sac Thursday night, or Friday day, I'm hoping to be able to pick it up then, and take it straight to the Bay Area to visit my family this weekend and get some break-in miles on it.

I'd offer to give you a ride, but I don't want to drive to that damn place anymore. lol At least they know what to do to yours. They are still trying to undo the rat damage from mine.
