yeah.... makes me glad we have a nice big, safe place to race at Stead. That course in the movie reminds me of Cal Expo. It might be a good thing that they canned the events there... aparently there's been like 3 accidents there in the last few years.

3 accidents at expo? Thats news to me :?

I never even notice the lightpoles at expo when im running or working the course, the design tends to keep them rather far away from the course, and the courses end up really twisty and slow to keep anything like that from occuring. But perhaps they had to learn from mistakes to do that? I have no idea.

This is according to Mike Mayer who runs in the American Autocross series. He's got a wicked CP Mustang... as does half the AAX field...

Well AA had a ton of broken axles and stuff every time I went to those events. That combined with their wide open course designs and heavily modified RWD monsters im not surprised

Thats insane... makes me not want to be anywhere near a course.. that almost happened to me at Lone Pine cause someone didn't red flag the racer that was flying at my gate when i was setting up cones (they got launched halfway across the 2 mile track).
