Default My Sti is going under the knife!

Yes, surgery time. My fuel leak has come back bigtime, so thanks to Jeremy at Lithia, it's going to be fixed up proper. Sounds like it wil be covered under warranty! I sure hope so. I believe it's getting all new fuel lines and clamps, among other stuff. I'll just be glad when it's all better, fuel smell and a puddle of gas when it's cold out gives me a crappy feeling. I'm hoping they have it back to me next week sometime.

Is there a TSB on fuel lines for the 04? Any idea what the VIN range is?

Nice, I love to hear that modified cars are getting fixed under warranty (when the issue isn't caused by the mods).

No, the TSB technically only covers the bugeye WRX. But a little birdy told me that if you can bitch loud enough to SOA, they will stuff new fuel lines down your throat to shut you up.

Well, I got the car back on Thursday. It's all good. Whoever the tech was did a nice job, the engine is super clean and everything looks better than new. The best part is , no more fuel leak, and it was covered under warranty. Thanks Jeremy.

No problem buddy, just remember you didn't hear $H!T from me.... I am glad to hear that is is fixed.. You should have heard the tech bitching while working on your car.... He was questioning why a "modified racecar" is still under warranty!!

Hahahaha. He can bitch all he wants, but nothing on that car contributed to that leak as far as I'm concerned. Regardless, he gets paid either way right?

...kinda like the time they re-installed my "modified" sway bar with the endlinks below the axles instead of above it and Justin tells me that if that's the way the tech reinstalled it, that's the way it was when it came in. Um, no, I just installed it earlier that week myself. I got to fix the fuckup when I got home since Justin tells me that I'm lucky they even worked on a car with aftermarket parts. I also like how they replaced the new peanut eye skid plate with another identical one and Justin tells me that's the right one for my VIN and he won't look into it. Hmmm, the guy at the parts counter didn't seem to agree Fucktard. 3rd strike? They replaced the wrong fender liner. Um, didn't you notice that the one you're replacing is brand new while the other one is ripped? Progressive bought the parts and paid to have them installed at Steve's collision...I never signed the check to Lithia...hopefully Justin had to pay out of pocket. I'm glad your car is still running Matt.

OMG I can't stand Justin, he's a complete loser. I don;t think he'll talk to me anymore after the "incident" with qksubi's trade in.
