What are the primary characteristics of these compared to other camber plates? Pillowball = more NVH than a more streetable camber plate no? How much adjustment to they allow?

Yes, significantly more NVH than stock or even GroupN tophats, and they won't get you much (if any) camber unless you get rid of your stock-style spring/strut setup. Stock diameter springs are too close to the strut tower.

A good deal for those with coilovers for sure though.
