Default How much over invoice?

Wow. Great responses to my two other posts; thanks everyone.

Would anyone care to share what they paid for their WRX in terms of invoice. I am a shrewd negotiator and so far I am hear that they tend to sell for near invoice.

All I can say is make a trip to the bay and go to Carlsen Subaru in Redwood City (south of SF) and talk with Larry (sales manager). They are selling cars UNDER invoice. It's the most painless car buying experience you'll ever have...

Hey Mark,

I just got off the phone with Larry. Great guy. He offered $100.00 over invoice on any 2004 WRX he had in stock. He further worked in that Subaru is offering a $750.00 rebate until December 1 to sweeten the deal. Now I have a reference to work with the local dealers.

Thank you everyone for your support. I may go buy a car today!

Franz (My real name, it isn't actually LetItRev)! LOL!!

Hey Matt,

I did some leg work today and if all goes well, I may be able to meet you all this week at the weekly meet in my new WRX. Am I excited??? HELL YES!!

By the way, while at the Reno dealer, some of the salesguys knew of this group, calling it the local "WRX Club." I mentioned that one of the members has a WRX, EVO and a Jetta Turbo to which two of them stated, "That's Sergio!" I guess you're a legend there Sergio. LOL!

Well guys (and girls?)

I purchased my new WRX today. So beware, I'm going to be tapping your collective brains on mod info.

Thanks again for all of your words of advice etc. I know I'm going to really enjoy this car. (My daughter's words are "Faster Daddy Faster!") LOL!!

So where is tomorrow's meet?

Franz

Silver. I really liked the WR Blue but as discussed on another thread, there are just to many of them. Silver works for me--and it's the color my wife picked! LOL!!

Any news on the meet tonight? I need to know what else to spend the family fortune on, ie: rims/tires, stereo, window tinting, and anything else that is "necessary." Ha!
