"pedal on the right"
Default Transmission bell housing window plug

Not sure what exactly its called, but on the passenger side there's like a 2" X 3" window where you can see into the bell housing and peek at the flywheel , clutch etc.

there should be some sorta factory plug thingy to stop lots of dirt from getting in there. I'm missing mine and i seem to get dirt into my bell housing (crazy huh?)

anyone got a spare?

or know the proper name ?

thanks

I was only half joking. Chances are, the plastic plug would just rattle loose on stage. In fact, is that how you lost the original one? Those plugs aren't bolted down... they just kinda sit in there... at least that's how the one on the SVX is. I'm kinda surprised it's still in there after 230,000 miles on my car.

I think I have a spare one. I'll have to count engines and plugs to be sure though.
