Final round for the year on the 18 footers. Weather should be awesome, its a great day even just to spectate. Been for the last 2 years, missing it tomorrow. You can join and run too if you want, its $30 I think and theyll loan you some planks. February's was pounding snow, speeds were way low. Not tomorrow, they will be maching.

Its way fun. Everybodys all dressed up in 1800's clothes mobbing down the hill, crashing all over the place. Crazy clampers about. Some form of sring band or another. Great for shooting photos. Everybodys darankin to varying degrees (careful, its a bit of a drive out of there and sherriffs are present), last round we chose scotch, I recommend it. Eat mexi food in Sierraville at los dos amigos afterwards.

If you go, look for the dude above in the pics with the leather hat and pup, and these jokers....they'll have the booze. The redheaded viking bitch with the beard and the husky sticks out like a sore thumb. If you look closely, you can spot the 15 year scotch bottle stabbed in the snow at the bottom of the pic...
