Really happy to see the Cards win it...Texas is perhaps my least favorite AL team, and I think the late season Run the Cards made to even make the playoffs was beyond impressive. The Championship was a great way to cap that off.

I always root for the Cardinals given the chance. They're the anti-Yankees, and by far the best all-time team besides New York. Cool seeing a guy like David Freese just ruin 3 excellent teams practically by himself.

They definitely deserved it after that push they made to end the season. Game 7 was nothing special though, it seemed like Texas had the life sucked out of them already.
