Default Helmut classifications

My brother has a Bell M90 motorcycle helmut that he will let me use, if it is the right classification for AutoX racing?

Will that helmut work, its brand new, never been crashed or dropped. Just a little dusty from sitting for a year without any use.

I think that's pushing it... IIRC, SCCA will require an M95 or newer helmet starting next year. So you can finish out the year with an M90, but next year you'll need an M95, M2000 or M2005.

fastened. Loaner helmets should be available to vehicle occupants
not having their own.
