That is awesome. I used to have an '85 wagon in blue. I don't remember the engine looking like that!

I wonder how that "scoop under the hood" works. I'd guess an air to water IC would have been a better idea... or a real hood scoop.

Either way, that's a pretty cool swap. He just needs to clean it up cosmetically a bit... new paint, new seats... and I'm sure some suspension and brake upgrades to handle the 227+ hp. Talk about a sleeper!

It looks like they rigged a duct under the hood to the front of the car to direct air to those fans. Cool

He said he plans on coilovers. It's a JDM wrx swap ~310hp. Did I mention it's RWD with a 2-way LSD?

It's his daily driver. How about you race him the SVX?

Sure, just let me put a 150 shot of NX in there 1st.

To be honest, that car is halfway cool. Either he needs to clean it up and stealth it out as a daily driver, or go buck wild and make it a crazy weekend/track car with a body kit, a cage, etc.

I always thought a early 80's GL hatch with a WRX swap, dressed up to look like a Group B rally car would own... think a Subaru version of the 205:
