Default Help me swap my RS

I have to wait till I can find the appropriate donor etc, but once I have all the parts, would anyone be willing to help me out with the swap who has already done one before? I will gladly provide beer and food to anyone willing to help.

Sure, I'd be happy to help. My advice though: buy a complete donor car, and get a pre-made wiring harness.

What do the pre-made wiring harnesses tend to go for?

$600 from IWire

I think there are one or two others around who do it a little cheaper too, but 9 pages of RS25.com searches came up empty for me.

Don't be cheap when having your harness merged, trust me. I highly suggest East Coast Swappers service. ecs.com I think.

Definately get a re-wired harness. Yes, I did mine myself. But if your looking to save time, do it. If you want to save some monies, I could help with wiring. I have all the diagrams you'll need. If you really wanted to get down and dirty, we could get it swapped in a week. There is also a guy I met last night named Kit from I think Fernely that has a swapped RS. I didn't really ask how much of the work he did on it though. I think he's on Flat4. PM me if you want.
