Just had a minor earthquake here.. not damaging, but enough to let us know it was here. Always a strange feeling when a building rattles underneath you...

Earthquakes are fun, at the least small ones. Of course now your going to get the inevitable earthquake safety tips all over the news. I hate those.

...and then some aftershocks too. Wheee...

The first one lasted a good 20 seconds or so, it was going for a while. Looks like it was pretty good sized, mag. 5.9 northeast of Paso Robles.

Damn, thats fairly sizable.

I remember the last quake in that area (wasn't it only a year or two ago?) Anyways, it was a a 5 or 6, and you could feel it all the way in Santa Barbara.
