Default Closing the air gap:

Okay. I hooked up that fender blocking plate, and removed the snorkel. I still have a small gap inbetween my air box and the fender. Has anyone done something to close this gap up? Should I just go find some light piping and make a small elbow? Or saw off the piece from the resonator?

Thanks.

Dont hack you stock pipes I just went and got some 3/4-1 inch high density foam cut out a big hole put in there works great. I can get a pic if you want or I can make you one I have alot of that foam around.

If you can jimmy-rig me something that would be tight. Or post a pic so I can go get some pipe.

Well I painted the foam insert black, and then super-glued it to the inside of the air box. Going to be a pain to remove off the air-box (if i ever do), but looks good for now.

When you delete the snorkus and the silencer, the airbox doesn't seal to the fender well. Evan and Art are using a foam ring to make a seal.

I dunno where sp00lin's buddy has the electrical tape... that looks stock to me, just like my car, 'cept I cut the silencer out of the fender.

ah i c. thats ghey.

why would you delete the factory ram air? whynot just cut the seal so that it can astually work? intakes arent worth shit unless you get a larger than stock one. in my experience.

We didn't delete the factory ram air - we just by-passed the silencer/snorkle.

o, but i think everyone else has deleted it. from what i have seen noone has an intake, just a deleted snorkel and ram.
