anyone know a good place for aluminum welding locally?

asked at the meet but noone really knew. maybe here will have better luck

I don't know how to put this but I'm kind of a big deal. People know me.

I know that Chris (Bruspeed) works with metal, I'm not sure if he's a welder or not. I think he might work with sheet metal. But he works at a shop, so it wouldn't be too big of a stretch that he'll probably know someone.

My friend/roommate welds crap. Mostly roll cages right now, dunno if aluminum is any different from regular welding, I'll ask. Unless you want like a shop or somethin.

Good aluminum welding is hard to find anywhere. Often the parts have to be pre-heated to do it right. My shop only does mild steel and a little stainless. I know McBride Machine and ProtoFab do aluminum, but I have no experience with them.

Sorry, I would help, but I quite the ol' sign business, building custom jeeps now . If my garage was built I would say I could do it as I have a Miller alluminum wire feed, but it is still in the storage sorry.
