Default corner weighing

Did we ever talk about corner weighing in here? Because I thought we did, but couldn't find it with a search.

If so -- who does it in town?

What is cornerweighting exactly?

I don't know the exact details, but it involves adjusting coilovers to provide proper weight balance across the four corners of the car.

http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/new...er-weights.php

Like a table/stool that wobbles, your car wobbles not left/right, or front/back, but diagonally, or "cross corner". LF/RR or RF/LR

By equalizing the total amount of weight on each diagonal with the other diagonal, you eliminate the wobble, and make the car so it handles equally in each direction. This is done by shortning the suspension on the heavy diagonal, or lengthening the suspension on the light diagonal.

Oh, I had assumed it meant removing/adding weight on corners that were different. I like the suspension idea better..

Physically moving weight around in the car is the ideal way to balance it, but that's not always feasible for a variety of reasons. Jacking the suspension is the quick & practical way to get the car balanced diagonally.
