They were all dead when I got here!
Default Limited Time Only

As some of you know or may not know, I have been working for a company called Sat-Systems. www.sat-trac.com (see the *video)
Basically over the last 3 yrs we have been developing a product called Sat-Trac which is basically the aftermarket "Onstar"esque product. With several differences and enhancements.

This product has been in Beta Sales Status with some local Dealerships in Reno, Sac, and back east for about 6 months or right after the SEMA launch. On Sept 15 it will go live to all the dealerships we have signed with, it will only be available at car dealerships and will sell as an add on with cars purchased at the dealership. The cheapest dealership so far is $999.00 installed with one years concierge service.

Since I am a developer, the owners have given us the chance to let our friends and family get units prior to the dealership launch. Cost is $725, which includes a $75 Credit for installation. 1 yr concierge service subscription. The installation can not be done at the dealerships per our contracts, but we have authorized install locations. Subscriptions after the initial yr should be around the $16.95 per month for basic services. Enhancements to the service and unit are scheduled within 6 months and are done with a simple unit reflash, takes like 10 mins. If you buy an unit prior to the 15th, the reflashes will be free for a limited time. After that the dealerships will be charging about $50 for a unit reflash. As many of you know "Onstar" is almost exclusively GM, but I have seen some other makes with it, couple limited Subarus and Volvos. The Sat-Trac system can be transfered to a different car, say if you purchase a new one, any make.

It won't hurt my feelings if no one takes advantage of the offer prior to the 15th, this is the Companies way of saying thanks for working through the concept to implemented product, I won't begin to tell you the horror stories getting to where we are today.

I consider the people on this board friends so I open the offer to you. I suggest if you are interested in seeing what I am talking about go to www.sat-trac.com, and look at the *video presentation. If you need more info, pm me or post a reply. Just food for thought, even if you work at a dealership, the contracts we have require them to have a minimum mark up, even when sold to employees. If you wait till after the 15th I will no longer be able to get you one, you will be directed to a dealership in your area. *PS you will need Quicktime 7 to watch this.

Times up, anyone wanting one now will have to get one from a local dealership.
