Is there an archive of the posts on the old phpBB board? I just did a search to see if I could locate a thread about a guy doing about 120 on I-80 between Truckee and Sacramento and getting stopped by a cop who then ripped on his own car for being too slow to give proper chase. I wanted to re-read that thread if possible. The details are fuzzy in my brain.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Dude. Sometimes I just think like... that was so funny. And then I go HA! Wow I just watched 3 guys stand on top of a moving van while nobody drove. I hope they don't hit my shit.

Every post from the old board was imported to this one. If you can't find it, you're just not searching with the right keywords.

Also, that sounds like my own story... I got busted east of Roseville back in '01 or '02 going 90 and change at like 3am. The 1st thing the cop said was: "I must have the slowest car on the force tonight, 'cause I was going 120 and it took me 20 miles to catch you!" ...or something like that. The cop was cool, gave me a ticket for 75 in a 65 and told me to keep it under 75 the rest of the way home.

That does sound like the story. What I did was search for the word "ticket" and only got results back to 03. Perhaps older threads aren't being indexed properly?
