My dad accidentally cut up his leg with a chainsaw once.

Yes, but he is not a 40 foot tall man made of wood. I cold see making a minor repair due to a chainsaw accident, but not a "rebuilding". Rebuilding to me says a major assault was perpetrated on the man with the saw.
