The turbo will only fit on 05+ Legacy GTs I think.

Maybe (that's a big maybe) it would fit on the newer WRXs. I can't remember if they have the same side mounted intercooler now or not.

Would the transmission be plug n play for a WRX? It'd be an upgrade right? Taller ratios though?

You'd need the gearbox and the rear-end if the final-drive ratio is different, and who knows if the axles are the same splines/length, or if the drive-shaft is the right length.

It wasn't a limited production run, or anything like that, but it wasn't a very popular configuration so not too many were made. Less than 1000 in the US, if I recall correctly.

And then the manual transmission was pulled from the wagon in 06, so yeah... its kinda rare.
