Default Nippon Racing Lightstars

Yep, it has started. For sale, Nippon Racing Lightstars w/ Falken RT 615's. Tires are 225/45/17 with plenty of tread. Previous owner was Dean and I have to sell because they'll not fit on next years platform. Requesting $400, Thx.

So will the next platform need 5x114.3 wheels?

Good luck with the sale. Pity we won't be duking it out again next year.

I think you meant to quote my post, but whatever.

What are the 3 screws that go through the rim for, some sort of bead locker? Aren't those a bitch to keep sealed?

I have to look into some mounting tools and do some more research before doing any mounting. I'll let you know when I find out. In the end, this little project is going to keep me busy this winter.

You reckon there's a whole season left in those tires? If so I'd have a hard time passing them up.

The inside shoulders look o.k. If you just ran them on Sat/Sun it may be possible but you'ld have to take a look for yourself. Guess it would depend on how crazy your alignment was going to be.

Those are bead lock for the guy that run sticky tires. They run pretty low pressure 8-12 psi. We're only run for 6-10 laps so they hold air longer than that. You should adjust your tires pressure after every race anyway.

Joeyy: What are you getting 80 or 125?

It will be a 125 primarily for autocross. Unknown on the chassis at this time. Guess it all depends on my parts sale off of the Subaru. Joining the kart club in October or round about for my winter testing. We should go down to "Sears Point" and do the Russell Kart Racing class this fall!...

ARORA 808 may have fallen from the face of this earth. Hello?

I guess with no response from the young fellow, the Light Stars are back up for sale. O, and folks don't forget about the wagon. Next week she'll go up on Craigs list and all the other sites. Later D-

I don't think he has the time to check the boards often. I can give him a call and see if he's still interested.

Post update. Looks like the black Lightstars are also for sale. The wagon is getting closer to a sale. So all the wheels will be up for grabs after the 22/23 AutoX.

I can't believe these haven't been sucked up yet.

Anyone waning a good looking LIGHT set of wheels should be buying these.

Great Open look but strong enough to take whatever you can throw at them. At these prices, you could even use them for winter wheels if you wanted.

How much do they weigh? Also, how wide?

I think I might be interested.
