Default car

Hey all, anyone who went to the s-squared bbq on saturday and saw my car. Did it seem to be "totaled?" Sorry to be asking this irrelevant type of question on the seccs forum.. so, simple yes or no would be cool with me.

thanks all.

Depends if there is engine, or frame damage. Yes = yes, no=no IMHO

I agree with Dean. Was there any damage to the frame?

It appears to me the "frame" was still straight, looks as if the front crumpled like it should have, but the suspension appeared to be in the right place, and A Pillars were intact. I Dont know, I've seen worse get fixed. I'm gonna say NO, I think it can be fixed.

Remember...Nevada law is that if the damages are 65% of the vehicle's worth, they will also total it. I doubt this is the case though.

Someone said they saw the crank pulley on the ground. If that's the case, then the motor probably spun itself to pieces. So a new motor, plus the cost of a new radiator and intercooler (and all the associated piping), and all the accessories, etc, could be pretty expensive.
