I don't think I'll ever go on a group drive again, with the exception of those organized on the down-low with people whose skills and judgement I trust.

I have done a few of these in the past(different group) and I agree. All too often someone always wants to set the faster pace. Keep it to yourself or on a controled environment. Driving should be fun, not deadly

Actually my concerns are the opposite. I have no problem with people who want to go fast- in my experience, those are the people capable of doing so. The problem comes when those who can't, try. They are the people I am avoiding. Not the talented ones.

What does that have to do with n00bs driving off of cliffs and into oncoming traffic because they don't know how to save a skid?

It was supposed to be an inside joke from our cross-cali group drive last year...

haha, that was a fun drive though. I tend to avoid group drives, especially if there are a lot of people. They can be fun if done right and you are in someone else's car.

Oh? I don't remember anything like that. Just good times. Wish I had the resources to put another of those together quietly.

You dont remember when we pulled onto the other side of the road on 89 after Jeff's codriver bumped me at the stopsign? No damage really, but ya it happened

Nope, don't remember. I suppose not being involved made it a lot less noteworthy to me.

Damn Kevin you have a worse memory than me. I can vividly remember Steve crying like a baby looking at his car. Maybe my memory embellishs a bit though.

I'd cry looking at my car too if my paint looked like that. Err, wait, did I just type that and click "submit"?

I can get away with that since every panel on my car forward of the windshield has paint and structure damage to some degree.
