Fernley Drags in June?
Anyone still hitting the drags out at Fernley? I just heard that its full 1/4 mile and am debating on going up that way to click off a few passes for the event next month as I already missed this one. I need to fix my clutch issue, but I definitely want to hit it up.. let me know if anyone else is up for going.

91 Toyota Pickup 2wd. Its now my project vehicle i suppose, it needs some work tho. It has almost 400k on the odo, everything in it is original, including the current clutch... 400k on a clutch... yeah, do the math.

Let me know how that track works out for you. Last time I was there, it looked like the 1/4 mile portion of the track went slightly uphill, so I don't know exactly how accurate it is.

Yeah, when we used to go out there a while back, when it was still 1/8th mile with no tree or time slips, it was definitely uphilll. It made launching embarassing until someone let me in on how to actually get a good launch on it. I think that area is now the runoff area, but I cant be sure.

I don't think drag racing is unpopular here; and although I don't have the car to be able to participate myself, I'd still like to get out there sometime to watch. But then, schedules are pretty full right now and I think alot of us are in that state, so it's hard to justify the 1.5 hr round trip out there to watch. Maybe for me, later in the summer.
