I should have written up something like that for my freshman english class instead of my paper about how fucking stupid the class was, and how I didn't need to be taking it, because it was wasting my time when I could have been in engineering classes instead. I would have gotten the same grade...

If the kid could show that the crap in there was of parodic nature and that he intentionally did it for comedic value, and that the made up statistics are clearly not intended to be serious, I think he should get a passing grade too. On the other hand, if the kid did it just to be an ass and not because he's a comic genius, then he deserves to fail. I still think it's 100% fabricated for our amusement.
