First, parse the ridiculous URLs so we don't have to scroll to reply.

Second, nice find. You might be able to get them down to $5000-5500.

Well they wouldnt go under $7000 for that wagon... So screw them.
Drove nice, had a few too many dents for me... And the owner obviously put like a load of junk in the trunk and let it slide around (scratches EVERYWHERE!)
The blue 2000 wagon they had was awesome, but it was $11k...

The $1200 Legacy in Belmont was gone (of course, and a really shady used car dealership too) but I did see a 96 Legacy Brighton Wagon in Berkley... But the engine bay looked like it had been dipped in rust and salt (blah).

I think the 96 L at the florin Kia is a auto, and its waaay too much like my last car.

So it looks like I need to wait for barsottis to get back, and see what he can do with that legacy turbo sedan they had...

Not a unicorn, it's 4EAT.

Yeah, how many green '98s did they make 4EAT or otherwise? I've never seen one.

here's the overall RS production numbers. I can't remember where I saw the breakdown by color, but IIRC there are like 200 green 98 RS around.

There are fewer Green or Red 98RS's than there are Ferrari Enzo's.

Um, well if you want to get that specific about it, you can probably come up with something like:

"There are fewer Red '02 WRXs w/ SPT exhausts and optional BBS wheels (but not the SPT suspension), with no wings, the factory subwoofer, and STi shortshifters than there are Enzo's."

Besides, I never really considered the Enzo "rare". They probably built just about as many as the world market can afford to purchase. There aren't that many people who can throw down for a car that expensive. So, yeah the Enzo is rare, but only because billionares w/ car fetishes are rare.

They took the number of people that wanted one, and built one less.

*I* told you that story, and it was about the F-50, not the Enzo:

Quote:
"Our studies showed a market for 350 cars like this," says spokesman Antonio Ghini. "But Ferraris are something cultural, a monument. They must be hard to find, so we will produce one less car than the market."

399 to be exact.

The point is, you are probably about as likely to spot an Enzo as a Red or Green 98 RS.

Unless you live in Tahoe/Reno, Colorado, Oregon, or the Northeast.

I've seen *at least* three of each and never seen an Enzo on the road.

3 over a 7 year span...

Ive seen 2 red ones in person, one I saw in vallejo several times cause it lived close by, the other I saw twice here in Sac. I have yet to see a green 98.

Oh, and I test drove the 95 L at LIC motorsports. Very nice car. The interior was great, I was surprised (even though it didnt have a radio or back seats at the time) it had one or two paint issues, but less than my old car did. The flywheel/clutch combo I stalled it twice off the bat (I think everyone does) but after that it was quite fun. The engine was great, the exhaust sounded great, the shifter was very nice. Overall, im going to try and get it... Minus the suspension, huge brakes and RWD (yes, it was RWD, very interesting spinning the tires like that )

Noah and adam are going to get back to me about it to see what they can do. They have another car being assembled right now for a SCC editor, and are rather busy...

They also had a 98 wagon that was in pieces inside, but had a very good body... It had no tranny or motor, but I might inquire to see what they can do with that. I like the idea of a white wagon with gold 98 wheels...

What are they planning with the wagon? I'll be in the market for one very soon.

It was kinda just there... It formerly had a 6-speed in it among other things. It is basically just a shell right now.
