He is afraid his car will be faster and have to admit it was because of the wrx engine Did it come out of a bugeye perhaps?

Sounds like a cool setup. Ya that's the same crap Scott tried to pawn off on me, there is a reason no one wants a WRX block.

Ezdno, Ryan doesn't have a bugeye and his car is the only WRX I can recall driving that I really liked.

Yeah seriously what is wrong with one? You have a motor that is built for boost, and it's stock... it's not like it's a crazy hybrid or anything.

Yea JC believe me i know that no one wants the motor, just wanted to throw it out there.

The wrx block isnt bad, but total power potential is pretty low i mean my car with pretty much every bolt on possible (FMIC, turbo, exhaust, accessport, etc) is only a little faster than a sti with turbo back and a reflash. I mean my top end power is better, but the sti is definitly more fun to drive because of torque and response. The wrx motor dosnt suck as bad as we make it out to, but its definitly not the best platform to try and make your dream car out of....trust me i know. haha.

but if you guys are interested in buying a "ready for boost" motor ill have one in about 3 weeks if your interested....ill let it go for dirt trust me i wont want it in my garage. haha

Yeah I've heard a lot of people say that if you want to make your WRX fast you might as well buy an STi instead. I'd be perfectly happy with a stock worx motor in an L, RS or Legacy or something. But that's also because my car had like 14 hp =)

Open deck, low displacement, mediocore internals.

I'm just giving you a hard time, I appreciate the offer. I really don't feel the need to pay extra for a turbo now though.
