Who all is going? This is really a good site, so if you haven't signed up, you should!

So far, I only see the STX group, no AS, SM, DS, STU etc... Come on Group SECCS, where are you?

I'm hoping to head out of Reno around 4PM Friday in hopes of making it in time to walk the course on Friday night.

Anybody else want to caravan?

I get Friday afternoon off, so I can leave just about anytime after 1 or 2pm.

Friday is IGT's annual cash sharing BBQ. Basically they give us an extra paycheck in the morning, throw a BBQ for the whole company at lunch, then kick us out early.

IGT rules!

So, anyway, I probably won't pack the car until Friday after lunch, but I should be ready to go by 2pm, assuming the BBQ doesn't run long. Count me in for a 4pm depature! I think Matt might be able to make that time too. I just dunno when Tyson will get off work. Maybe they'll send him home early on Friday...

That website says that online registration is closed. I assume it is OK to register when we get there, right?

That should be fine. You might want to email the regstrar your info so they know you are coming.

Wonder why they cut off on-line stuff quite this early.

oh, and I'd like to leave early too, I'm not sure what time though. it kind of depends on tyson I think, as he is our place to stay. however, If I can get out early, I can hang out at the track or something. I'll shoot for 4 pm

I think we are headed for the site first to register, walk and hang out, so we aren't dependant on Tyson.

I'm crashing at the Red Lion so we won't have to thumb wrestle for beds at Tyson's.

Tyson gets to pick the dinner spot Fri. night since he knows the town. Otherwise I'll end up in the coffee shop at the hotel.

It would be a good 300+ miles of break in... Just remember to use more than one gear while crusing at the posted speed limit.

I will Keep that in mind while trying to do the speed limit with no Cruise control

I drove that car twice and look at ever thing and was informed at last night meeting that there is no cruise control

That could destroy a perfect driving record like mine in one trip to sac

That's okay she not giong to let drive it too much any way

Dean is still right you dont want to keep the RPM's at 3000 in 5th the hole way from Davis. If your wife is going to drive it back or if you are just remember to down shift to 4th and raise the RPM's for awile to properlly set all the seals and what not's. A good way to do it is on the inclines over the hill drop to 4th on those and coast down the back side to change the RPM. Ohh and dont forget to fill-up in Sac, Sergio I think still only gets 175 miles to a full tank :shock: , or else you might have to pay high prices at the top of the summit
