Oil pressure sensor adapter fitting needed
Guys,
My buddy owns an Sti and purchased a Autometer oil pressure gauge. Can anyone provide some info about the best location on or around the engine block to tap into for the pressure fitting and what size adapter is needed to adapt to the Autometer sensor? Thanks in advance. Adam

Unfortunately, everything Autometer is SAE, so it's usually a hassle getting it to work on metric cars.
Here's what I built out of a oil-cooler sandwich adapter: Basically, I drilled a bypass into the oil-cooler adapter to convert it into an oil gallery, then installed the oil temp and oil pressure sensors in it. Dean is the current owner of this setup, and I believe it's still working just fine! You can see more pictures and download my writeup on the installation here.

Scott,
I appreciate your input. May look into that option. Thanks. Adam
