Default Hey Art: Logos...

Here's a few of the logo's I drew up:

The 1st is the official logo for use online, on letterheads, cards, that type of stuff. It should be rendered just fin in black and white grayscale.

The second is the spotted card in true color, 600dpi 2"x3.5".

Then there's the straight logo with the URL, the plain straight logo, and the left and right italicized logos. They're all 2 color, 600dpi 8"x2" for use in vinyl decals. I figure we should find out how much it'd cost to have a few of each done in a few colors... namely black, white and silver/grey... would anyone want a different color? I might like a pair of italic logos in World Rally Blue for my rear side windows.

I'm assuming photoshop PSD's are cool for getting things printed, make sure to download the above links and send them off, they're the high resolution images for printing. Find out how much these will cost, and we can figure out how many to get printed.

T-shirts to come!

If you guys need some other t-sirt prices I can get them from NEBS ... we use them for our business. We have our logo embroidered by them on our shirts but they also do screen and silk prints. I'll bring the logo on Thursday so you guys can see their quality.

Okay. The lady is coming by my office tomorrow morning to pick up the disk. She will make some samples which I wil hopefully get before Thursday. Since some people will be gone this Thursday, I will probably take pictures or just bring them the folowing week. This is for the business type cards or flyer's.

I am meeting with the window decal person tomorrow morning also, since she is the one doing my magnets. I will give here the copies and see what she can do for the vinyl window letters.

Okay. The printing lady has the design for the business-type cards. She will send me a sample next week due to the holiday. So I will have them by next Thursday meet.

The lady that is doing my magnets and window-decals, I am meeting with later on this afternoon.

What is the quantity amount for the business cards? I asked her to quote me 100 and 500 cards.

As for window decals, we would each need to know what we would want. Like Scott said, some may want italics or bold or different colors. So we will need to have a poll or something eventually with what style people want.

I want the ones that are slanted left, but one of each of the slant would be cool, so I can have the proper lean on each side of the car in white of course.

i agree with matt i think one of each lean would look better so that they go the same way when you put them on the opposite sides of the car.

If we do "leaners" with the address, you can always trim off the address part and not apply it to the car.

I suggest we go with just the leaners w/ addresses in white, gold, black and silver/gray. Assuming there isn't a huge cost increase for getting lots of colors and essentially two different (left and right) stickers. WE may ned to buy these in some sorta bulk instead of one offs for each member... I want to have one printing run of these and be able to sell them to new members w/o getting more printed for a while.

I will know by tomorrow the costs to run them. I will also have the price for the business cards and a sample to bring to the meet.

Okay, here's what I'm considering the "final" logos for the stickers:

Here's the actual files for the stickers

Left Sticker, 600dpi, 9"x2.25", 2 color Adobe PSD

Right Sticker, 600dpi, 9"x2.25", 2 color Adobe PSD

I think we should print at 10 of each in White, Black and Gold/Yellow for a total of 60 stickers.

Here's the latest logos, this time they're in Adobe Illustrator vector format.

There's three logos:

seccs_logo1.ai: that's the non-italic version
seccs_logo2L.ai and seccs_logo2R.ai: the Left and Right italic versions
and
seccs_logo3.ai: the "full" logo with mountains, the name, the logo and the URL (I'm thinking this will be a candidate for a T-Shirt logo, or for the SECCS banner)

The attached zip file contains all these files, plus the preview JPG and the font files for the fonts I used.

I'm going to start a poll for people to vote for quantities / color.

One more thing Art....

Just to make sure we're all on the same page, make sure your printer knows these are NOT square bumper stickers, but are vinyl cut outs... where black in the logo is the selected color, and white is nothing.

I'd hate to get a big order of square white stickers with printing on it that we'd have to try and cut out by hand with scissors or something!

LOL....actually she doesn't even do bumper stickers. Here entire business is vinyl designs. So that won't be a issue. I will send these ones to her and get new pricing with different quantities.

I like it a lot. Almost better then the first. If everyone agrees....I can get it over to her tomorrow.

As for the stickers...We are going to be getting a better deal. She is coming into my office tomorrow to drop off my magnets and we are going to go over it all. I will give her your number then. Thanks Scott.
