I know i can get in some decent runs dammit... I couldn't push the car at all this last one... I would have turned some decent times.

Yeah, that's why you shouldn't come to Stead events anymore unless you're running STS! You make all us turbo drivers look bad when the L stomps us!

Default STX upgrades

I've finally got the STI up-pipe and the turboxs exhaust installed. Whew, what a pain. But it is night and day better. Almost all the turbo lag is gone. Much more low end torque. I love this car.

Ohh and now it sounds like my old VW,

Maybe I can catch Scott now.

No fair!! As it is I can barely beat you, and for me to have a chance at winning STX, I think I have to beat you in every single remaining event!!



I can't wait to see your car will all that stuff on there! Did you do all the work yourself? How bad is the tranny/engine mount install compared to the exhaust install?

Theo, did you get their standard axle back with it or did you go with the RFL-TI?

The turbo back with the standard muffler. It's loud enough. My wife complained that it woke her up this morning. I gave a friend a ride and when I dropped him off he told me he thought he could hear me roaring away for two miles.
