No biggie to me, my cracked glass was just replaced today a few minutes ago under my comprehensive insurance. Allstate for the win. I just hope they don't get all pissed off or anything and raise my rates!

Dang. My entire car wasn't even covered, let alone the windshield.

If you didn't have collision on it, crashing it into something certainly isn't covered.

But if you've got comprehensive, and some retard in an Explorer decided to dive bomb pass a crane truck that's merging right into that lane to exit the freeway, forcing them to drive on the shoulder tossing up a cloud of debris that cracks your windshield, then you're covered.

I carry a $100 comprehensive deductable, and a $500 deductable on the rest of my coverage. I don't carry collision on the SVX. If it gets wrecked in an accident, it better not be my fault, 'cause my insurance isn't covering it. But I don't drive like a retard, so chances are, if it gets wrecked it's not going to be my fault (not to imply you drive like a retard... shit happens. I figure if shit happens to me, the SVX is a write off and I buy that Titan I've been drooling over).

You REALLY don't want to know how much the rear window cost...

The svx is retardedly expensive to repair. If you ever brake any of the side windows it is MUCH cheaper to buy a whole door w/ window then to buy a window by itself.

IIRC, side windows are $900 for the glass... nevermind the installation that would pretty much have to be done at the dealer.

Yeah I don't have collision because if I did my insurance would be about $450+ a month... so yeah. So I don't get money for my car =(
