Default Broken Front Seat

Any got a stock drivers side front seat for a 02 Wrx laying around, I pulled the bolt right out of the rail, apparently this is a recall but its already been fixed once by subaru, not exactly sure if they will or can fix it again.

It feels kinda weird now, I actually do go backwards in my seat when I take off.

The fix consists of replacing the bolt with one with the equivelent of Red Loctite on it. Make them do it again... Red Loctite should not come undone without heat...

Why do you need a whole seat if a just mounting bolt came out?

well it didnt just come out, it looks as if it ripped the steel from around the mounting right out of it. I have an appt with Subaru to see what they will or can do.

According to the service guy that looked at my car, I will have to replace both sides of the drivers seat rails. The recall was for the mounting bolt that holds the seat assembly to the floorpan.
$124 each, and of course for them to install is about $200 in labor... So, if I cant find a used left side rail system, I guess its welder time.

Again, anyone have any old seats laying around?
