Default Differences in Legacy 2.5i spc ed & Outback 2.5i limited?

Getting ready to trade in the S4 on a new Legacy, 06.
1. We want a wagon in ABP with 5 speed and moonroof, don't care about leather or premium sound and dont want the ride height.
2. It comes in ABP wagon 5sp in the Legacy 2.5i special edition and the Outback 2.5i Limited with these options. the OB has the leather, sound, high susp, and different wheels.
3. Outside of the leather, sound, ride height, and wheel style, I cant find any other differences except price. Am i missing something huge here?

I've searched on the Subaru site, Nastyoc, I-club, and legacygt.com, and no tangible answers yet. Does anyone here know?

They are basically the same. Like you've noted, ride height, price, and ertain option packages are the differences. Also the two-tone paint.

In addition the Outback has an LSD, available heated mirrors/seats/wipers, and dual zone climate control.

'nuff said, get the OB. And try not to clobber any poor unsuspecting RS owners with it!

Hmmm.... LSD definitely carries clout with me. The heated seats come with the Special edition, if I'm not mistaken, and I think the heated wiper. I'll have to check suby's website again, it is teh confusing. Do you know which diff is LSD?

You're right. Plus the roof rack. Since Lithia has an OB in ABP in Limited trim, 5 speed, in stock, that looks like the one. Unless Michael Hohl can do better. Lithia drives me crazy every time I go there.

The rear diff is the one that will be LSD. Only the STi ever had a front LSD in the US.
