Default Went out to Fernley last night

I went out to the drag strip last night. It's ridiculous how slow this track is but it was a lot of fun!

Here's my slip:

Has anyone else been out there and what'd you run?

Edit: Not sure how accurate the traps are. I also ran a 15.204 at 95.01mph.

Fernley times are bogus. If you want real times, go out to fallon.

My best ET is a 13.0 ()@106 in fallon, but that was more than two years ago.

I doubt anyone else on this board has been to a 1/4 track, even though I think they'd have fun doing it.

That's a great time!

NHRA elevation correction comes out to about 12.3 @ 111mph, fyi.

And yes, fernley's track sucks, but it's fun. Uphill tracks are teh suxors..

Deal, did somebody say Deal? Oh, Dean, yeah that's me.

It's not so much the elevation.

Unless I am mistaken, Fernley is up hill most if not for teh whole 1/4 mile...

It is. And the elevation does play a role.

/whipping out my handy nhra correction factors again

My time, assuming fernley was at sea level, would be a 14.2.

I doubt, at that time, it would have gone low 12s. Maybe 12.5-12.7@109 or so. At 106 I should have been in 12s up here...

I took my old RS to Sac Raceway several times, and I might end up taking this one as well sometime next year.

I took my WRX out to Fallon once, I think I was running 15 flat, I forget that was like 3 years ago.

15.0 was my best. I never could get a good enough launch to get into 14s. I know my old car was capable of it, too.

Drags?

Google images is dangerous. That image was much tamer than a few others that I found. . .
