Default STI wheel fitment

Well, I went over to dean's house today, to try on his wheels. We thought that they would have enought room to clear the STI brakes, so we gave it a shot. However, even as roomy as they look, they are still 1/2" short of clearance, so basicaly, they would need a 15mm spacer to clear comfortably. We measured my wheels and from the base of the lug plate to the spoke is 1.5 inches! I didn;t realize how big the brakes really were, the search for wheels continues.

BTW thanks Dean

Those Brembo's are GINORMOUS. Much bigger than any of the popular BBK's out there.

Today the wheel shoip called me, they have NOTHING that clears the STI brakes...(beside the obviuos Advan's ) , they do have OZ superlaggeras in STI offset sive 18's, but they are way too $$$.

I told you it would make MORE sense to go with the TRAMAC's or TARMAC II's
