When I was in bay with my brother this weekend I saw:

WRB 04 WRX with Prodrive pff7 or whatever the SDRs are. It was also lowered and exhaust etc...

It also had an extensive EasyStreet Motorsports graphics package. The driver looked kinda like Ari(sp)?

I saw Marissa's old Evo heading south on 395, passing me at the south meadows off-ramp.

I saw Deede Sunday turning near kietzke and McCarran. You didn;t see me though, I was in Stealth mode.

Also, had an intersting "encounter" with a twin turbo RX-7 on 4th Street last Night. Younger guy and I talked at the stoplight, he just picked it up at a used car lot. (GT4 for real) Anyway, he lives in my neighborhood, I hope to see the car again soon. We didn't race or anything , but that thing goes pretty good, sounds cool too.

Your right I didn't see you poo.

This morning I saw a silver STI with a dent in the trunk. The guy took off the top part of the wing, so it was flat with a little flip up at the ends. We waved at each other. Didn't get a chance to talk though.

The dent sounds like a good start... now someone needs to really beat the crap out of his trunk so he's forced to replace it with one that doesn't have a wing at all.

<-- not a huge fan of the STi wing, but thinks no wing > STi wing >>> half the wing.

I saw that guy at Summit last time I was there.

Maybe he got hit and the wing broke. I can't imagine anyone would have it like that on purpose. I hope, because that would be friggin ugly.

I've seen pictures of people intentionally doing it, but in this case, I wouldn't be suprised if the wing broke in the accident. The hit was in the upper passenger corner, and if it came from an SUV or truck, it could have easily hit the wing too.

Oh yeah I forgot, in the modern age of SUVs, the STi wing is actually a 1st-impact crash safety device.

nice one Scott.

The hit on the trunk didn't look like it took alot of force, but it looks like total crap. I couldn't decide if the rear looked bad, because of the dent or if it was the wing modification.

Eric or Matt I think South bound on McCarren at Plumb witnessing my return to Reno moments ago with my broken WRX on a borrowed trailer behind a borrowed truck...

It has been way to long a day. I didn't even notice until I saw this silver blur out of the corner of my eye as I turned onto Plumb.

All on my drive to Gardnerville this afternoon:

1) A white bugeye WRX with SECCS stickers and a CA plate on the freeway at 5pm
2) A silver STi with new plate inserts (did somebody get themselves a new toy?) closely following #1. I passed them just before the eastbound 80 Wells merge, so honking would have been a bad distraction. They both turned off at South Meadows
3) A silver STi caught in the backup on northbound 395 by the Hilton
4) A blue STi heading north in Washoe Valley at ~530pm
5) An STi parked by the motorcycle shop near the Les Schwab in CC, facing 395, with a "for sale" sign in the window
6) A white ~93 Legacy Sport Sedan in the Carson City "Casino Fandango" parking lot facing 395

Those are the cool ones --- the plain-jane RS's and WRX's I saw don't count.

Vehicles 1 and 2 are David and Kyle in that order. Up from Napa. Good catch seeing them.

Stupid STi's are becoming ubiquitious! I'm liking my bugeye more and more each day... which will probably last until the 1st time I get stomped by an STi at the autocross.
