^Listen man, Im not picking on you at all. But when you come on to a forum and your first post is "who has the fast4r car, I bet I can beat that" your probably not going to get good results. Secondly its awesome that you have put all that work into your own car, people around here just like to see how you got to those numbers. Once you tell us all the mods you have done, then comes the "oh yeah that would make around that whp" but until then your just pissing in the wind.

And dont complain about someone talking shit to you, and then you turn around and try to insult everyone.

Exactly; noone is "talking shit" and I'm not e-thuggin' you. You come into our forum trying to claim superiority, and all we're letting you know is that we've seen it before, and straight numbers aren't going to impress most of us. It doesn't mean it's not cool, and good on you for trying, but we're more likely to respect you if you post what you've got done to your car (since you did do it all yourself). You can't come on and try to prove something to a bunch of skeptics without proof. So far, multiple people, including people from race shops, and with quite a bit of experience have asked you what you have done, and you've dodged it every time. THAT is why we're skeptical.

Personally I become skeptical the moment someone dogs on "racing against cones" after stating that they enjoy racing in a straight line.

But whatever. . .

Mr. Killer, you've gone about joining this community all wrong. Surely you could have discerned by reading through this thread that no one here is particularly inclined to participate in "bigger dick" dyno contests. . . Perhaps you should check out the Motorsports section of the forum and read some of the threads chronicling past autocross competitions and track days.

Chasing cones is really fun. I've only done it once and wish I had more time to participate. My guess is the turbo is huge so it definately would not be fun in autocross and would get stomped by much lesser cars. It certainly (in my humble opinion) takes a lot more skill to chase cones than perfecting your reaction and 60 foot time down the straight. Not that there is no skill involved in drag racing; I just think that actually turning the steering wheel = driving.

NICE! Good stuff Ryan! By the look of that power curve, that thing pushes your eyeballs back in your skull after 4k!

yea....i was kind of supprised that it didnt make as much torque as i expected, but it hits full boost(22psi) at just over 4K so yea it gets pretty nuts after that. eventhough the max tq dosnt hit until over 5k having full boost that early is great and yea it has pretty awesome power all around. i like it hahaha.

hey mike, yea its working, but in "default" mode i believe. My Hydra did not come with the avcs control harness....i may get that installed and tuned at a later date. do you think it will make a big difference if i had control of the avcs? I was under the impression that in default it would automatically set to the max? thanks mike.

There is no seperate harness for controlling AVCS via the Hydra, I am not sure I understand why your running the Hydra and not using it's ability to control the AVCS (it's a simple wiring job) on your motor as you'll pickup the TQ your missing with it as well as notice a huge increase in fuel economy.

I have never tested where the solenoids default to if set with no control as I have no way of measuring them at that point (only when AVCS is working and I can log them) but I have witnessed enough setups without AVCS control to see a substantial midrange torque and fuel economy difference.

Yeah, if you have no control going to the AVCS, it defaults to the high-rpm setting and kills your low end.

Good stuff Ryan. Was this on 91 octane?

I put Andy's info in to the Mod section and just dyno info on the dyno line...

Isn't that S-Squared's old dyno? That has to be close to stock STi numbers.
