What you're calling "cushy" I'm calling "rolling like a battleship shelling an on-shore target". I eventually plan on going to a stiffer setup on the springs and shocks, but I'm going to do it when the 5-speed goes in, since I'll have to compensate for the loss of about 200lbs off the front end of the car.

With that PCD, 17X8 comes in 42mm or 28mm offsets, 17X9 comes in 27mm or 17mm. 8" are $89 a piece and 9" are $92 each, plus shipping.
I'll take'em! Are these prices for gunmetal or bronze?

Also. is the backpad thicker on the lower offset models, or is the shape of the spokes altered?

Are there any 4x114 fitments?

Same price for both colors.

I think it's a thicker backpad, but I've never seen them in person so I really don't know.

Discount has a couple of 17X7 38mm offset rims, but nothing 8" with that bolt pattern. Same story at Tirerack, no 8" wide, 38mm is the lowest offset in 17 X 7.5. Looks like you need a 5 lug conversion!
