I didn't at the time the picture was taken. We had 70mph winds last night that just blew the snow off the top of the car. I already snow blowed and cleared the whole driveway and within 2 hours we had another 6 inches!

The first 6" was the hardest work, but I think I'm up to about 10" total. Took the truck out to check on snow bloweres. Of course Sears is out of the Reno sized ones,$299, but has tons of Tahoe/Truckee size ones. $600-$1200. Home depot is a rip off with Lowes slightly less bad. So Screw em...

I moved the cars to the ends of the driveway, so if it gets to far ahead of me, I'll just give up on the rest of the driveway and just keep those spots clear.

Nick, I assume you have a killer blower... If you or your neighbors ever decide to upgrade, let me know and maybe I'll take your old one of you for a reasonable price....

P.S. We need a snowman Emoticon...

Yes I went through several before finding the best one. It's a honda 11 hp with a 32" bucket. I'm thinking of turbo charging it though. Maybe some titanium spikes for the tank treads.

Just got home, and there is over another foot in my driveway. I give up... Anybody got a plow? And Tyson's car does not count...

Cheapass = like $500... I found a source for cheap snow blowers. I'll start a new thread.

So this morning was Interesting...(I'm at work now)...

I half-assed shoveled my driveway to get the car out...made it half way out of my cul-du-sac and got high centered...The snow was so deep I could almost not open my door  Oops...I got out, tried to dig it out by myself, but had no success...

I had to wake Bryan and Kevin up to help me get it out, we ended up using Bryan's jeep to get me out to the main road, that thing is a monster...So needless to say, i'm leaving my tow hook in the front.

Turns out I high centered the car in the street because there is about 20" of snow, it came up to my knee...That's a little too deep for a slightly lowered Impreza.

Once on the main roads, I was golden, the streets were a mess, tons of snow still, deep spots, and assholes spun out all over (Mostly abandoned cars from last night)

Anyway, now back to work... Moral of Story...

Well, I'm working too, didn't have any trouble getting here though. Well once I got the car out of my parking spot up on top of the snow. Ay my house it was up to my headlights. I plowed the whole driveway pretty much cause no one else had driven through yet. Once I got to a larger street I stopped and cleared the snow out of the grill and the lower bumper so I would get some airflow. It was packed in there good! Then it was just a matter of avoiding cars that were spinning out and abandoned.

It looks so beautiful out there right now with the sun shining, I'm tempted to go to the mall. The looks are probably deceiving though.

Seriously?! Well then maybe the news blurb I thought I saw on the bottom of the tv show (no mail delivery today) is true, too.

Well I went to see Life Aquatic and loved it.

My car was awesome, save the fact that the hump over the railroad tracks on sierra st was very discomforting. I took it at a good angle but still I could hear my exhaust getting coldy punched by the mounds of semi-hard dirt snow.

SNOW! So fun! My office closed down for the weather. Once I get done with my side work I'll be able to play for the rest of the day. Yay!
The STi is sooo much fun in the snow.

This is exactly what my old beat-up 200k mi+ 1990 Legacy is for! The body is hideous, but the AWD works fine. I've been taking all the back streets to work since the snow got here. Cul-de-sac u-turns are my favorite!
