I had an '86 automatic. There was a dummy up shift light on the dash, and only two gauges: speedo and a giant fuel gauge.

That's exactly my car, 'cept I had no pinstrip and no hub caps.

Ok that is a POS, at least mine had a 5 speed, and a wing.....and the body lines were smoother..

I Almost miss my lil 89' escort. that's scary that others also had a ford escort, and around the same year as me. what i miss about my escort was rallying the SHIT out of it (do peeps get mad if we swear on here? need to feel out the flow) i had a few times where the only thing keeping me on the path was all the small trees i was hitting. (back in michigan when i was 16/17)
