Thanks dude! I'm sure you've prob. got a ton of crap sitting around just as I do Subi parts eh?

You'd probably be a better judge of their size than I would, but I do recall being told that they're 6.5s...

Well, if you wanna swing by sometime this weekend, we'll pull a panel off and make sure. We could just install the new ones while we're at it. I'm almost positive that the GC uses 6.5" all around though. I'm just not sure how much depth you have to work with.

Awesome! If I manage to find a few free minutes this weekend, I'll definitely give you a call! Thanks Khail!

6.5" fits all around according to Crutchfield.

I never trust Crutchfield, mainly because it shows 4" all around on my car, even though the stock front speakers are 6.5". I think it is right in Cory's case though.

I believe Crutchfield shows 4"s all around in the newer Imprezas because that's all that will fit w/o spacers due to the shallow door cards.

Even if the stockers are 6.5", if the space doesn't meet Crutchfield's definition for the space a 6.5" normally takes up, they probably don't list it simply to avoid the return hassles when someone tries to jam a 6.5" coaxial in there and breaks it cause it's bigger than there's room for w/o spacers or common install sense.

They show 6.5" in front and 4" in the rear for 05 STi.

Wonderful, the 05 doors are the same as an 02. Go Crutchfield.

Scott's probably right, none of the larger speakers will fit due to depth without a spacer. But that should be the case with the 05 as well, so who knows.
